1. The sourcecode in the domains that the new tool creates has some interesting references to findwhat.com, including an affiliate id embedded there. Maybe Huseyin can enlighten us as to it's function?

For example:
$url = "http://v10.xmlsearch.findwhat.com/bin/findwhat.dll?

2. I also wonder what happens to the "text contenders" and keywords? If we enter the same number of keywords (in the "generate links" box) as "text contenders" does keyword 1 get matched with "text contender 1", etc.?

The findwhat code was an old tes we were doing and should have been removed, we went away from that in favor of the article system

To answer your question 2, yes. The order of keywords is matched by the order of the contenders.
