I have seen that niche market domains do much better on templates , as opposed to domains in saturated markets like music , games , entertainment etc.... although traffic and revenue increase on almost all , my niche market domains in art , home improvement , affiliate programs etc... seem to get a higher CTR.

yes, that's what I mean. i have some domains that get 100-150 uniques daily. would you suggest using my own templates for such domains?

In areas where you are recieving traffice like you mentioned above, I findt that the templates help convert the traffic into clicks as you are fine tuning the ads for the traffic you are receiving.
