I am not qualified to throw out numbers but I will tell you that names like this become useless in a very short span of time due to constant changes and upgrades to devices and their networks.........4G will soon be 5G or some other term that markets well.........Best of luck....

Very low - even reg fee and not just because of what Oxcell said. Apps aren't 4G - the network and phones are. The apps will run on most "G"s as long as the phone support it.

4GPhone would have been good a few years ago. PhoneApps is great and will be for a while. The two together aren't a good match.

Draggar, curious why you would think 4GPhone would have been good only few years ago? The 4G phones are barely out. an iphone 4G phone is yet to be in the market. 4G arena is a hot market right now and should be for many years. 5G is not even a standard and wont even be implemented for 5+ years. The mobile companies are still upgrading their network to support 4G (ie..ATT buying T-Mobile). They aren't even going to consider 5G until they get their money back from all the money they spent on upgrading their network to 4G.

It doesn't have the longevitiy it had years ago. Years ago it was all new news, speculative, etc.. which is what a lot of people look for but now they're going to their provider's sites or stores for 4G phones. (4G networks have been out for almost a year now, in technology that's not "new"). With the exception of new phones and plans the information is rather static now. You don't see commercias for "our new and imprtoved 4G network" - you just see new phones.

LTE, pre-4G, etc.. is irrelevant, people see 4G and it's now old news. 5G is the next big thing but if the wireless companies in the USA go with what Intel did with their processors (486i, anyone?) we may not see stress over "5G network", they'll call it something new.

Actually the "4G" that you see out right now is not even really up to the 4G standards. To be more precise, it would be more appropriate to call it 3.5G considering neither LTE nor WiMAX as it is implemented today adheres to the 100Mbps minimum standard by the ITU. True 4G that will be implemented next will be LTE-Advanced and WiMAX 2 which will adhere to the 100Mbps limit. This is well into the future and the 4G standard even goes beyond that so this technology should have a shelf life for at LEAST 10 years and beyond. I do agree with you that maybe to keep things fresh, the companies will rename 4G to something else although the underlying technologies stay the same but updated.
