"adult films" is the correct PC term for "porns"...

.info is not a great resale extension for porn...

    Low resale....

    So then how about adultfilms.info?

Seems like the .info resale market has been picking up lately.

yes....grab it - Better than the former. If choosing between the 2. Resale may be tough, but maybe you have a use.

I know of some sales, all low between 10-20k. None confirmed. I think sedo posted a list of a bunch of german names that have sold recently with ranging prices. I think dome sold an info name a few days ago and I've received some offers. It seems like the info aftermarket is picking up.

I have both those names. Adult movies is better because more people are searching for that than films. Better keyword targetting for se's equals more traffic.

    Doberry makes a good point!
How about this then? Which specific .INFO domains are definitely confirmed sales, of late?
    Thanks again,

    Most folks on this forum....

seem to be too pessimistic about the new tlds. The simple fact is that the entire economic landscape has been pretty bleak for several months now. Hardly anybody is going to "invest" in domains when equities are tumbling and people are loosing jobs left and right. If any thing, I'd venture to say that given the current business environment, the domain sector has held up fairly well. After all where else these days you'd expect multi-fold return on your investment (reg. & renewal fees in the case of a domain-name) just a few months to a couple of years later... provided one has registered a decent name. It'd be only with time and improved economic circumstances that the real potential and value of the new tlds would become clear.

As of now though, the average valuation for AdultFilms.info is somewhere between $1-2K (for an end-user).

    Here is a list:

    http://www.domain-spiegel.de/

This site list all major .com sales too. Scroll down for the .infos.

I think dome sold star.info for 2-3k the other day.

I almost sold guitarists.info for $500 but I've decided to develop it in conjunction with other guitar names I have.

    Tee, if you didn't sell...

guitarists.info for $500.00 then you must be of the opinion that Guitars.info would be worth quite a bit!! Don't wana say any more lest it'd be considered "self-promotion".

Re: Most folks on this forum....

Thats because most folks on this forum are .com purists.. but change is inevitable..they realize that , they know it but will scratch your eyes out if you dare show them the future with too much glee !

Truth is ...the drops for .coms are very hot right now(rightfully so)...I think WLS will change that come the first of the year..

Madrush to pay to be on lists ..a whole new trading area if you will..which will be the springboard for change...

we will see .Net and .Org rise from the sea of lackluster into a new spotlight (you'll still be able to pick those up dropping... a renewed interest..)

and we see .info ,.biz and .Us registrations continuing to grow .. the more they make .com exclusive , then the more people will want to use other extensions ..the more people reg the other extensions the more supply is dried up...the higher the aftermarket prices go..

    one mans opinion...
