Great domain by the way. I love generic .co.uk domains.
It depends how much it's worth to the enduser. How much are they offering? I would say it's worth $700 - $1500
On sedo today pleasure.co.uk sold for $1000 & people would say this is a better word & has much more potential in returns i.e massage sites, aromatherapy etc
However I think monkey is a great word. Well done!
Ps: Hope they offered you more & hope it goes through. I have had loads of offers through sedo & the buyer disappears. Don't know whether it's sedo or people.
Wow, great price for pleasure. I would have paid that. Thanks, guy
Luke - 'Man from Lucania'
I agree, I would have paid twice that at least for pleasure.
Had a thought with your domain. I wouldn't let it go too cheap. Although we should always take a good honest buyer as they don't come round too often, I feel monkey.co.uk is really good. I think to the right enduser it could be like monster.co.uk
What I mean is it could be used for something with no relevance to obviously monkeys, but it is so memorable. Good luck, I think you can hold out for quite a big pay day!
a high mid to high $x,xxx. this is a good name that does not necessarily apply to animals but also life in general. if you don;t get a buyer willing to pay that much i would suggest that you keep it to wait until the price goes up or to develop it. good luck!
Always buying .COM revenue type-ins. PM me!
$1000 max. Top names such as apartment.co.uk sold for $4632 and why.co.uk sold for $6592 and monkey is much weaker name than those.

lyrics.co.uk went for $80,000 and TheCube.co.uk went for $40,000 , but I would assume that those were developed, and had traffic
low xx,xxx - but development is something you should consider for best return on this name.

Nice for personal use. Brandable. Graphic designers dream name. Easy to remember. Use and keep. A buyer will find you later. Creature.

Nope; these were both just domains. I believe Lyrics.co.uk was making some $50 a day on parking at the time. The Cube - No idea why that commanded such a price.Originally Posted by banksta3
I must disagree with you there. The names you quoted were bought at good prices, still I think Monkey.co.uk is more brandable than either of them.Originally Posted by nrmillions
Looks like I will keep the name.

Smart move, it's a very cool name.Originally Posted by lukeeales

I agree. Over here in Canada - Monkey is also a slang term for a female bodypart. NOT that that is why I would say so much $$ just that it's a very brandable name and has many uses.Originally Posted by malmar2
