unfortunately the very profit hungry and greedy olympic organisation is going after everything and everyone that is trying to make a profit on anything olympic or the games, good name, but risky with the TM

I had an Olympic Torch site for my area of Florida in 1996. The Olympic Torch Committee made me remove every reference to "Olympic" and ALL branded trademarks from the site immediately. C&D followed up by phone calls and a personal visit to my office by a local lawyer. There was no advertising on my site AND I was on the local "Olympic Torch" Committee. We (the committee) ended up creating our own torch graphics and advertising the "Torch Run" with no reference to Olympics.

Yep, the Olympic Committee is notorious for protecting their TM. End users aren't likely to want such a name and resellers won't touch it - let it sit, let it expire.
