    Re: Appraisal: TheTaxpayer.com

I suppose it could be developed & have links to accountants & be an info site etc. But then any site can be developed. Ideally you need a good domain to start with. Sorry to say, this isn't one. regfee only

    Huh?

Does TIA mean something different to the Brit's? Here it's just "Thanks in Advance".

    Cheers,

all it means is thanks in advance. Psychos!
I would say develop and then chart the traffic potential versus clickthrus.
Maybe sort news feeds by country?
If you made podcasts rss then it might be taxpayer radio and a viable news source if you started compiling news updates and interviews? a business journal it seems.

I think BritishBulldog was just trying to inject some humour into proceedings. As us Brits do try to from time to time. As for the other comments you can try & build up any domain but I think this ones a non-starter.

    Re: Appraisal: TheTaxpayer.com

the article `the` in front of `taxpayer` in my opinion does not good to the name. nevertheless it could be developed further. In it`s current state its value is mid xx

Oh -- it's that dry British humour. Got me again....

I actually added to this pile by also picking up the org's. While you can admittedly stick a/the/my/our etc. in front of most any word, this one is actually the outgrowth of some linguistic study.

As an example, while obviously I would most prefer Rose.com, my second choice might be RedRose.com. And why? Because it is the most frequent word pairing. From this perspective, TheTaxpayer is actually much better than RedRose (relative to the base) as this is by 5 to 1 the most frequent word pairing over any other in the English language. [For RedRose, it's 1 to 77.]

Anyway, you don't have to buy into any of the above. It's good to get other perspectives. I'm thinking these may do well as an IRS.com type of site:

    TheTaxpayer.com
    TheTaxpayer.org

    Cheers,
