If purchased cheaply enough you might make some money on it, but if the BBC ever claimed the right to the domain you would almost certainly lose the case. The call is yours.

This just caught my eye in one of my drop lists and I couldnt resist! Could this be dangerous to park for traffic purposes?

Yes, dangerous but I doubt it gets traffic... The domain they always give you with a tv weather forecast is BBC.co.uk/weather - and if you type in weather in google.co.uk the BBC domain comes up 1st... So if they wanted it, then they could get it but imo I wouldn't have bothered getting it.
Don't worry about the BBC.

I wouldnt worry too much about it... You do increase your risk however pointing it out and posting it publicly.
