Hi, it's a little awkward, but I think an end-user could go to low $$$$ for this one. The problem I have with this domain is the missing accent and apostrophe, but even if you did venture in to the realms of IDN (to display the correct term) you'd only get the accent, as I don't believe that apostrophe's are supported by IDN...

Whatever you think it is worth, divide that number by 10, then divide by 50 percent. Unless you have received legitimate unsolicited offers for this name, then the value is extremely low. Mentioning Google results kind of proves the low value. Cafes are pretty much a local deal, so because the word Cafes is mentioned in Google millions of times doesn't mean a whole lot.

Anyone looking for a cafe is not going to type in Cafes. They will have a much narrower search than that. They would type Yorkshie Pubs...Manchester Cafes or something else.

This is a low value name and I wouldn't want it for $100, but I do believe there are others who would pay that, so that is not my appraisal. If there is someone on this forum ready to make a legit offer and buy the name now, then the amount they are willing to pay would give you an idea. Anything other than that is just an intellectual exercise of trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

Hi WhoDatDog, thanks for your opinion. Just checked google keyword tool and cafes gets 16,000,000 Exact Global Searches and 1,830,000 Exact Local Searches per month that's probably why sedo valued it at £10k undeveloped and have entered it into the next GreatDomain.com auction. Quite a difference, but thanks for your appraisal.

    Hi Condoleezza,

Yes, it is a good domain, and i'm glad you have taken
    the responses given so well.

I stand by my original opinion, but i'm sure you will
get a decent price for the name. GreatDomains.com is
something of a lottery these days, so it may be worth
your time trying to get sedo to sell it privately first.

My experiences with Sedo have been quite poor, but
if you have a lot of patience, and don't mind each Sedo
rep giving you wildly different "appraisals", on names
you submit to them, then they could be for you.

    Good luck with the sale!
