Hi guys! I am a new member, and I hope to stay very active and involved as time permits! I have read a lot of your posts and discussions, and I'm very impressed! I think DNForum is a very cool place to be!

Could a few of you veterens help me with some basic appraisals? Thanks for your help! Also- what's the general feeling around here about adult names? I've seen them for sale here, but not a lot of them. Are they considered bad taste at DNForum? I'm asking because I own a few...

Welcome! I think your ok with adult names, most people don't seem to mind them & I guess the ones that do just don't look at the topics regarding them.

Hey there MudFence! I really appreciate your input! I'm thinking you're down on .ws domains? Although they are still pretty new, I was lead to believe they are catching on slowly.

I thought for a gun advocate or even an ANTI-GUN site, it would be a great name! Am I crazy??

Comments - OK sounding name with some marketing potential.

After55.net $15

Comments - Not very useful. Looks like 60 is more of an age milestone than 55. Compare the Google results for "After 55" with "After 60"

ArmyFan.com $50

TheBaja.com $30

HandGun.ws $30

Comments - If you were lead to believe that .ws is on the rise, you were lead wrong. It's quite the opposite in fact.

.WS domains have been around for several years and are only declining in value. With the introduction of .us .biz and .info they have become almost unnecessary. I still feel they are usable for small time development, and you might fetch $300 to $500 if you took the time to develop "the Handgun Website" and sought out a buyer in the industry.

Comments - You could score $10 to $15 for this on eBay if you got lucky.
