Thumbs up Caseiras.org (Caretakers) 85,959 ovt

Up for appraisal is Caserias.org. It means "caretakers" in portuguese. I think the org extension works well for this domain.

The ovterture in Brazil without ext is 85,959. with ext 37.

The overture in US is 5,423.

It has ovterture in various other countries as well.
I would expect it to be respectable in portugal also but can't check the ovt there.
Adwords shows quite a number of various searches in all portuguese speaking countries.

US google returns over 490,000 for caserias.

Let me know opinions on this domain what ever they are. Thanks.

Re: Caseiras.org (Caretakers) 85,959 ovt

Hello Sarcle,

I'm from Portugal and here we don't use that term in that way.

That name is used like when you do something in home... home made or something, but almost every time in singular. That name alone doesn't have much mean... doesn't tells nothing to me and i'm from Portugal.

For what I can see in english dictionary... caretakers means "guardas" in portuguese... soo www.guardas.org will be the name!

In Brazil, I don't know if they use that in the same way... but i'm pretty sure that it's the same thing.

Well... to prove that, I search in google for "caseiras" and I find that is used like housewifes... but it may be in portuguese-brazil because in portuguese that it's not true... we say "dona de casa".

Another thing that's is very popular is "Fotos Caseiras", or in english 'Home Photos'.

Appraisal: It may be used to pornography... It's the only thing that makes me see any value in that. (it's like Housewifes.org)

Re: Caseiras.org (Caretakers) 85,959 ovt

Thanks Vorty for that very informative post.

I actually could use your services on a few others as well if that would be okay.

I really appreciate the information.

I did an overture search in Brazil for guardas and it only shows 90 results. So maybe it is the difference between the two countries. Brazil Ovt Link

As I have stated I am getting interested in foreign domains as they are starting to grab very large numbers with a relatively "open market".

post edited...didn't have the link to brazil ovt. does now. thanks.

Re: Caseiras.org (Caretakers) 85,959 ovt

Sure, no problem.

I must be confuse, can you tell me what means caretakers in english? Is a person who is hired to take care of something (property or a person)?

If it's that we can say "encarregado" or "guarda", if is a person (child) we say "ama". But it's difficult to find a word - word translation, right now I can't see a word that defines that... here we have a word for particular cases... doesn't really exist a word in portuguese to say "caretaker".

Please, tell me what you want to say with "caretaker" to see if I can help you... =)

About the ovt, I can say that "caseiras" is used only for pornography... let's see... in ovt we have this:

"caseiras foto" - housewife photo

"caseiras foto sexo" - sex photo housewife

"amadoras caseiras" - amateur housewife

"intimidades caseiras" - housewife intimacy

[...]

So, in Brazil it means housewife... in portueguse is different... here means something that is made in home. Ex: The food that you make in home -> Comida Caseira. (Where "comida" means food).

Well, a lot of research were made to do this... lol (it wasn't easy.. eheh)

Hope that helps you.

Yeah. I looked up both terms and they have an ovt of 1483 for encarregado. and 90 for guardas.

Yeah. I thought it to mean caretaker of a person or thing. But it looks to me know that it does in fact mean "caretaker" of an adult thing.

I understand now that the word alone means something pertaining to adult activity. Where as the word in a phrase pertains to other things. Is that correct?

Yeah it does I know what genre I should be targetting now. I really thank you for doing that to help.

If the mods feel that they need to move this then feel free. As it was an unintentional adult oriented word. Thanks.

Sarcle.

Yes, that's it. The word alone in portuguese (from Portugal) means something that's made in home, but in portuguese (from Brazil) means housewifes.

Yes, it's oriented to adult content (only) in internet :-D
