Perhaps you should spend a little more time here and read the latest news about celebrities taking legal action to get their names back.

I agree I am not much into Domain Marketing stuff. But I plan to use these domains in completely good faith as Fan site and stuff. I did check some celeb domain names as fan sites running very successfully.

Good faith did not stop JLo from winning her names back last week along with a few other celebrities.

legally, very complex and lengthy process anyhow.
said that, personalities names (any segment - sports, tv, movies etc) appeals for dispute

The extension would have little bearing if someone wanted it bad enough.

Just like the large global brands who are faced with regging every extension to protect their name, I would hate to think that a celebrity would be compelled to do this as well to protect their name.

Honestly, why would anyone even ponder why domaining has such a bad name?

No value, Doubt anyone would even waste the money suing you for them, Should drop these and focus on more generic names

IMO - these names are wasted .com $

I mean, if they are for personal reasons (ex: for fansites) then...

A) I would still invest in a much better .com
B) Why would one need an appraisal for vanity domains? (Curiousity or profit?)

I echo the sentiments of taking the time to learn about domains, as much as I appreciate the learning curve of 'taking a shot' at rego'ing your 'gem amongst rocks'.

Unless you do something ridiculous with these star names i dont think you would have much problems. I don't think Jolie would be interested in having a co.in unless it was used to bash or post "nude" pics of her..
