People said high $x,xxx two years ago. What do you think Fixes.com is worth now??

Put on ebay with a reserve and you shall find out whether it's xxxx or xxx or xx or x.
I had a $7,500 offer on DNF not too long ago. Ebay is typically for low-end names. Not too many good ones are listed there.

It's sounds like you have your appraisal (as far as a speculator/domainer goes).
If you make no effort to promote your domain...the appraisal will stay there most likely (on name alone).
You may wait a long time for a microsoft type company to come along and buy fixes.com for XX,XXX - XXX,XXX (although stranger things have happened).
That being said, I think this is a good name to develope and market with the right business plan...especially for PC repairs and updates. Good luck with selling your name.
$10,000 imo
1....$7500 is a huge offer for this domain. It is plural and serves a limited market.
2. There have been some pretty interesting domains on eBay lately. Yes, the majority of domains sell for $xx and below but ive seen sales in the $xx,xxx range lately.
(I have even bought names on this board and sold them for double or more on eBay, so I have to completely disagree with you on that statement)
mid $x,xxx I would have taken the $7,500 offer
low to mid xx,xxx
xx,xxx$ have you tried to put in features in sedo?

Ok, after thinking about my comment before, I would like to retract it. There are some very good names listed on Ebay but it is hit or miss because there are so many poor names listed for ridiculous prices that it crowds the marketplace. They have a much broader audience than any of the forums, so if a name strikes the eyes of a couple buyers, the price could go up pretty rapidly. One downside is that Ebay listing/final value/Paypal fees can add up pretty quickly.
The name is listed on Afternic without any upgrades. I am not in a rush to sell the name, so there is no need to accept a $7,500 offer just because it is there.
It also gets between 275 - 350 uniques a month.

I agree that it's hard to wade through the junk on eBay to find good domains. It seems like that is becoming a problem on DNforum too. People are going out and registering random names and them posting them for sale saying "incredible value! don't miss it! wow!" and all of that stuff, when they just spend $8 to register the domain.
But I digress...
Good name, I'd say $5k-$10k on resale market.
Decent traffic stats. Any revenue. I have alot of domains that get 200+ uniques a month but no revenue.
I am not trying to trash your name at all. It is a good name but I am giving my honest opinion as I would hope you would of one of my names in this section!
What kind of website do you think 'Fixes.com' could be developed into?
As for eBay, the fees are a cost of business. Is it any different from the extra cost of promotion that is offered from sites like Afternic, TDNAM or sedo?? They all have fees for upgrading a listing.
The special thing about eBay is that they have millions of members.
