The singular may or may not be more valuable, but it's definitely less accurate. #5 on Ovt for a search on "FOREX" - not bad. Trillions and trillions traded...

    You like?

Anytime, anywhere, just pull out your cellphone and trade away. Get quotes, do it all - go mobile today.

Expert end user appraisals appreciated, as well as not typing out the full domain in the thread of course...

forex.mobi might be worth a good chunk of money - low 5 figures. This one is worth a few pips.

Low five for "forex" itself? LOL.

Invest.mobi sold for $1x,000 and a similar amount for stocks.mobi

Do you think a domain in a narrow market such as the FOREX is worth more?

BTW, I work in the industry so I don't just blow it out my a.s

"Narrow market"? That's a very interesting way of putting it for the largest market in the world.

So then, domains always sell for what they're really worth, and things like early quick flip cash-outs and various anomalies never happen? I guess you would say musicvideos.mobi could be used as a benchmark at $16.5K, too? How about Europe.mobi?

I already knew about your "activities" in forex, so I'm not impressed. Moreover, if all you are doing is trading on your own like so many others, perhaps in your pajamas or flip-flops, then one would need to closely examine exactly what you mean when you try to use a claim like "work in the industry" as a credential for the low values you are trying to push for "forex" itself and the one I've posted.

Hmm, why did you pick such a narrow market industry to work in, anyway?

Re: FOREX Markets - Going Mobile

What's the matter, can't take the heat and you start the personal bullshit, Nova?

I work for a FOREX trading company that develops software for trading the FOREX. And I don't wear pajamas; my ladies usually see me in speedos and briefs.

Now, let's go back to the name you posted here for appraisal. It's not forex.mobi; the only good .mobi names are the single keywords that MIGHT get traffic. All the rest are just junk.

The FOREX market is narrow in the sense that it's just that, foreign exchange trading. It's not stocks, bonds, futures, real estate. Invest.mobi sold for less than 20 grand. Therefore, my statement correctly values forex.mobi for considerably less.

Now, before we go on and on here, let's remember you're asking for appraisals for forexmarkets.mobi

So, my appraisal is $xx.00 - give or take a couple of australian dollars.

Weak, appears disingenuous, and certainly takes the cake in the worst way in light of your own behavior over the years, including whatever got you banned elsewhere before you changed your name.

Thanks for adding to the examination of what it means when you claim to "work in the industry." So then, would you really suggest that whatever "work" you do for such a software company strengthens your case about an industry and the value of a name? Such as perhaps web design or whatever it may be? Not buying it, Acroplex.

(I think I'll leave out some of the "personal" from these quotes: )

Like musicvideos.mobi and the singular for instance? Another interesting claim. I'm sure many other DNF'ers would have something to say about that.

A most intriguing "logic" - doesn't bode well for all those other forms of investing you just mentioned. Looks like stocks.mobi was absurdly overpriced then. Yes, we are already aware of what FOREX is, and in that sense you can certainly apply the term "narrow" to anything you like, anytime you like. And it will always be a very interesting way of putting it for the Forex markets, and an interesting way of trying to downgrade domains.

Nova, check out your shadow. It's still as long as it was yesterday.

Your domain is still worth $xx, no matter how many lame personal attacks you might unleash. Pathetic, but a sport of no-lifers, it seems.

Sorry bud, I am ruthless but I speak the truth. Can't touch me either, my feedback and documented sales over the years speak for my professional level. Sorry if I whipped you too hard, you should have grinned and bore it instead. Next time try to take on someone of your own - low - caliber.

Speaking in plural ("we") when only one person types, is an indication of megalomania and schizophrenia. Which one do you suffer from?

Only place I am banned at is Domainstate; if you're claiming otherwise I will call you a liar in your face. It goes back to the days of the Three Amigos running DNF like their own personal sandbox. As an old member you should be aware of this. But I registered here in 2002 and my domain reselling experience goes back to 1998. So now Nova, it's 2007 and you have no clue still about how the market functions.

LOL, very weak. Feedback and friends and people you might even be able to get to praise your name sometimes look like a good front, but it's the truth that counts.

I said single keywords, such as flowers, stocks, etc. Single words, as opposed to 2 words or more. FOREXMarkets.mobi is two words, FOREX.mobi is one.

It's evident that you are a sorry case of zero accomplishment. I gave you plenty of attention. Please go back and lick your wounds, if you're into that sort of thing.

I can type 120 words per minute. Sorry you can't catch up.

But wait...this is a thread about Acroplex or about how much I valuate your domain?

Think hard before you hit the POST button next time. It saves you embarrassment points.

Your boasting is duly noted and there may be points available for that - check with the mods.

You mean like this embarrassment you dug yourself into?:

Personal attacks is not good for anyone or the industry.
If you put a name for appriasal, you should be able to take the heat.
Even I have registered names that I thought was wonderful only to find out they super suck. But again even the suckiest name sometimes sell. They say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and so is domains.

I post an evaluation of your name, using my time and effort; you retort to low blows and bullshit quotations, simply because you didn't like hearing the figures. I suggest that you don't list domains for appraisal if you are not emotionally stable or unable to hear other people's views. Lastly, I will gladly see you sell the domain for more than $xx. So take the challenge and prove me wrong.

I couldn't agree more about personal attacks, and letting this end is not a bad idea, but you definitely need to reread the thread to get a clear picture of what's been taking place. It may surprise you to know that I don't consider this domain to be so very valuable for a .mobi and might wind up letting it drop, so what you think has been going on is off the mark. If you're going to give an "appraisal," if one can always call it that, or make personal attacks or insults, you also have to be able take the heat when a rebuttal comes your way or when someone addresses your folly as it deserves. As is so often the case with typical bullies and boasters, they can't stand it when they're stood up to or even merely disagreed with, but sometimes that's the right thing to do. So, it's not always a matter of one person or the other taking the high road, but there is also a time when it's right to simply disengage and let the bully go on wallowing in his own ways.
