FoxHunting.info

Hi

FoxHunting.info

With the current goings-on in the UK regarding Fox Hunting, and the fact that it is mentioned on TV more or less everyday, what do you think this domain is worth?

Exactly my point, especially here in the UK.
What are the views on Fox Hunting in the USA and other countries? In the UK, they are trying to ban it completly.

Re: FoxHunting.info

Seeker: I think it would make a great site as a forum, simply because of the differing amount of feelings towards Fox Hunting. You just proved this by saying it is barbaric. That's your opinion, and that's what makes forums successful, opinions

ed30: Why not? When its banned, people will still do it! The head of the metropolitan police in the UK has already said that he won't waste time/money prosecuting Fox Hunters, he'd rather spend the time/money on catching robbers etc

Thanks for your input!

Craig

They're not spending the time to catch robbers now! They will prosecute fox hunters like crazy because it's the politically correct thing to do in our now warped society.
Anyway I'd say the name is worth $25.

lol

Have you heard the new laws? If a hound kills a rat whilst hunting, that's ok but if it's a mouse, the owners can be prosecuted!!! I swear this is true!!!

Huntsmen will get round the law easily by taking guns on hunts with them and they'll just say they were using the hounds to flush out the foxes to be shot.

Re: FoxHunting.info

Fox Hunting has lots of tradition to it, and Fox Hunters tend to be upper class and affluent. I maintain my original appraisal

That's true. Fox Hunters are known to be from the elitist group of society such as Prince Charles etc

iam not upper class (iam as comman as muck, well but not a chav!) and definatley not affluent(come on buy my names!!), mrs unclewilco is employed in the horse industry, which will be direcetly affected by this ban., so in turn I will be... Iam a supporter of the country way of life and no longer ride horses anyway, thats all iam saying.....

the equine industry is such a big money maker ( i have 2 horses and iam always skint)

you also have the aftermarket of classified adverts, after this law (in the UK) is put in place all those thousands of horses used for the hunt will have to be sold as general hacking or a good proportion will be destroyed (and wont mentioned the many more hounds, anyway enough of my wossname)

the hunt provides so many different aspects to the country way of life (well in Wales it does), we would not have point2point racing so then we wont have quality horses coming through which would then go onto the big races and maybe onto stud.. BETTING AND SEX! 2 massive industrys.

good luck its a pefect extension for the name.

wilco

Re: FoxHunting.info

Thanks Wilco

My mum also keeps horses, 5 of them. I have always been the country type myself I also believe if Fox Hunting is banned that it will cause a massive unrest in the UK due to the amounts of hounds that will have to be destroyed, and the amounts of jobs that will be lost.

Thanks for your post, it made an inspiring read.
