You tell us nothing and expect us to appraise Well, heres what I say: Ask them to make an offer that seems fair to them. If they have any dignity at all, im sure theyll offer you more than you would get from a regullar buyer, on the other hand - just dont expect to much..

"I'm going to give them a fair price, not trying to stick it to them. I know this isn't much to go on but any suggestions on price?"

In the absence of any determining information, I would simply say that you should "Hold Firm". More info would have been nice ... since you ARE in the "Appraisal" section. Good Luck.

I am not a GoDaddy person, but I know they are fair - mostly

Are you sure the person is from godaddy?
Like the above - I have no idea of value - but haggeling is fun just don't worry to much

Any Registrar contact me for a domain - $1,000 min - but I can haggle with the best of them.

Just make sure the domain is NOT already registered with GoDaddy; they can play a dirty game if they want to.

Good advice BigFart. No need to worry about quoting too high.

You might want to PM the domain name to a few trusted forum members to get a more precise appraisal.

Update: Thanks for all your help: Case Closed

    Guys and gals,

Thanks for all of your help.

I think I will continue with my original plan to hold onto the domains and set up that reseller (with the unforseen exception that a third party registrar makes an offer I can't refuse).

    Case closed,

Are you infringing their TM or why are they saying you need their premission?

Also I think you can now freely post these domains here, so we can give you more realistic appraisal. Afterall, they gave you permission to use them so they dont feel like it should be a secret or anything..

Why would they say that? Is the domain a reference to GoDaddy somehow?

This thread is getting frustraiting to read. Post the domain so it will make some sense.

Someone here (even me!) might be willing to pay more than GoDaddy, if the name gets traffic, or has other good characteristics.

Oh, and $1500 sounds like a very decent price for a registration-related domain (especially if it's potential legal trouble). Take the cash.

Are these domains registered with GoDaddy? I wouldn't be suprised if they find a loophole in your registration agreement with them that lets them take the domains away from you.
