You need to post some more info about the site.. does it have a PR what is the traffic did you buy traffic does it make income etc.

Hi, the site was running for several years. However, I have since closed the business because I have too much going on. I am currently in law school.

Anyhow, the site was generating decent traffic when it was up and running. However, right now, I am not sure the amount of traffic it might be generating. As for income, when it was open, it would make income. If you go to www.giftpilot.com and click on on the "Terms of Sale" link, you will see information that I last had.

don't close it if you want to sell the name. The running site can bring more name value for you.

I agree. But it's too late for that. I already closed. However, the site can be up and running up again in no time. I am selling the actual site itself too and not simply the domain name.

Any thoughts? What do you think I should be able to get for it?

I think you reopen it right now. after one month, show the revenue and traffic. you will get a decent amount for you name and site package.

I agree with you. It's a good idea. Except that I don't have the time for it. Exactly because of this, I realize that I'll have to sell at a discounted price.

Anybody have any ideas? Or interested in the site for that matter?

I think that selling the inventory along with the site may not be the right approach. People here may be interested in buying the domain, but may not be at all interested in buying "$1,400 (at cost), of Gund teddy bears, Precious Moments items, and fragrances."

You might want to consider selling these items on eBay separately from the domain and the business.

That's a good point. I might do that. I guess I'll separate the inventory and sell it separately.

Name Alone, I would say its worth anywhere from $0 - to Registras fee.

I believe you would get more for it, if you were to sell it as a full website.

If you're worried about people wanting just the name and not website, simply make it known that you're open to splitting the two up.

I do appreciate your comments. However, no one has ever told me the domain is worth $0-$30. I've actually recieved offers for several thousand for the domain alone. Go to www.sedo.com and look it up. You'll see several offers that have been made and rejected. I guess it is worth differently to different people.
