If it is a first offer, I'd counter with a higher price of what you think it's worth. If you want to sell it, decide on a price you want and ask a little more.

Hi all, the title says it all. I think it might be a good deal for me, but then again I'm not sure because there's some potential to veelog.com (after all, it's likely the best "vlog" domain name after vlog.com itself. Vlog is often pronounced as "vee-log".)
Seeking opinions, thank you!![]()

dont sell for less then $350-$1500
Unless you are starving... it doesn't hurt to add an extra '0'...
Unless you really need to sell it, counter back with $1,500 and negotiate towards getting $1000 minimum.
They may walk, but then again they may be back a few weeks later with the cash.
Why are you posting this domain for sale or offers on the forum in one thread...
and then asking if you should take the money you are offered in another thread?
The way I see it, it is not that great of name.
Take the money and two threads close.
I have NOT done an appraisal of any kind, but at retail, if someone is interested, a couple of hundred dollars is usually the minimum.
Others above suggest asking for more, but I would try and do some research on who they are and how much money they have and intended use before asking for much more.
As some others have pointed out, it depends on how bad you need the money, Living in Singapore which is one of the most prosperous countries in the world I doubt that's the case.
If its a end user who's interested in the name then quality doesn't matter, he want's the name for a reason and will most likely be willing to pay in the $300-$500 range as CureCancer suggested... I personally would start at $500 and see what his response is, I wouldn't sell it for any less than $300 to a end user... Reseller, no less than $100.

of Liberal policies that are fiscally and socially destroying the country..
Guys, thanks for sharing your views but I guessed I sold it too hurrily in the morning for $80 while on a short break from my 8-5 job without doing more research.
I posted this thread last night before I sleep so I only saw the first reply while forgotten about this thread earlier today.
Quite a mistake I made, but nevermind since I'm usually not patient enough to wait for "end buyer" offers until I have a solid portfolio. (but still, I guess I have to be more patient next time and probably be better at negotiating to a better price).(Maybe I could have negotiated it to maybe $150 and still sell it immediately, I don't know. :/)
@Doccom I received that offer from FB actually, then I thought of trying my luck here for higher offers.

could have been another domainer that bought it to resell, or ... you'll have to see where it ends up.

$70 isn't a great offer to be honest, and as others have already said it may be a good idea to hold out for a bit more.
Good luck,
Sold a few domain names there recently at very cheap prices. Average $15, but those are the domain names that I don't intend to renew when they expire, so it's still good considering that. (Even when I post them at similar prices in DP and NP, I get less response I think.)

i hope you learned your lesson, always do research and get appraisal for your domain before selling it. i believe this domain is a steal, i don't mind paying an extra 0 for the domain but thats just me. selling them at $15 or $80 just doesn't worth the time, no offense but even a nice dinner cost more than $80...seriously.
anyway im from malaysia, just next doorwish you all the best on your upcoming sales.
If you are going to be selling names like this at those numbers I am interested in what ever else you have for sale.........Send me your list.
Thanks
Heh no problem. It was hand-regged after all, more than happy that something I hand regged for reg fee could worth so much more than I thought! :]
Heh thanks! I have a bunch of 70+ other domain names for sale (but may not be as valuable as veelog.com I guess):
