I think you will find that the accepted way of doing a Google score with Two Keywords is to put them between parenthisis. Your scores is then 106K. Your overture for this Keyword combination is 318. Not so impressive!

I've done some work in forecasting, and it's quite the inexact science. Most people rely on aggregate forecasts to gauge movement in the index along with other nominal indices, so I'm not sure this is of strong use.

rocket I agree that forecasting anything especially inflation is quite an inexact science, but it is a heavily influential science.

I graduated with a degree in International Economics, and have done some forcasting, though probably not to the extent you have, and it is many times simply and "educated guess".

However, I guarantee you everytime Greenspan gathers his board their decision to raise or lower targeted interest rates are heavily influenced by their personal forecast of inflation.

and if the fed. reserve does it so does every investing firm, venture capitalist, fund manager, and so on. Everytime they lay money down they do so with an expectation of future returns based upon expectations of future economic factors, one namely being inflation.

I agree this is not a "retire and live on the beach" type domain, I personally do however think it is worth atleast $x,xxx and if developed by the right company could become a relied upon source for inflation data.

just my $.02, but i do tend to be a bit of an inflation hawk.
