    Invigorate.com - Your Opinion?

    Hey all.

Invigorate.com is up for sale and well, I haven't been playing the domain game long enough to know what she's realistically worth so I'd really love your opinion.

My take on the positives for Invigorate.com:

    - The timing seems right in these sluggish economic times to sell a domain name that implies positive action, energy, change and vigor!
    - She's easy to remember and generic enough to be highly brandable for pretty much any market.

    And the cons:

    - Four syllables
    - Lower IQ types might have trouble spelling it? Dunno!

Would appreciate if some of you ole pros could weigh in and let me know what you would sell her for?

    Appreciate any input.

    Thanks!

love the name. host of applications tbh
even a showergel co or mouthwash firm would be nuts not to buy even just for a cool marketing tool if only like $20k , which is personally the minimum i would take for a name of this calibre. I'm not saying you should sell this cheap though.]
    Very nice

Seems brandable to me. I like it. Not sure if its better than Invigorating.com tho?

Just checked, and Invigorating.com is $15,888 at Buydomains.com. But that would presumably be negotiable.

If you had them both, it would be really good.

Ksinclair: Yeah that would be a great combination. Invigorating is an extra syllable so I think perhaps worth less than Invigorate from a branding POV - where shorter is generally better!

    Cheers.

    Some Google results....
    Results 1 - 10 of about 3,710,000 for invigorating
    Results 1 - 10 of about 1,500,000 for invigorate

Nah invigorating is the more common word.

@Bionic ... yeah, from a type in POV, invigorating is a more popular search term. IMO, from a branding POV, invigorate is superior.

Any one else want to weigh in on what they'd value this invigorate.com domain at?

The timing may seem right but in hindsight the best time to sell most names was during the 2007 market peak. Dnsaleprice shows that invigorate dot com sold for 5950 USD thru afternic in April 2007. If that was a global auction, not a private sale, today's market is unlikely to support a higher price. There is scant evidence that "positive image" names are bucking the broad market direction.

$10k+ end-user. Skip the reseller market, cold-call companies related to items of personal hygiene: shower gel, soap, salts etc.

Yeah for branding, invigorate has more punch, you never know in a few years
Coca Cola could be knocking on your door looking to brand their new sports drink,
I read about 50 Cent he invested in a softdrink company and Coca Cola bought
them out and he made $100 million. It's a long shot!
