At any rate, it is a good negotiating point to bring up for Martin when a similar "sounding" letter sold at that price within the last 10 months.. Similar sounding in some cases IE- the word "cage" where the "g' sounds like a "j"..
It can't hurt for Martin to bring up the ggg.com sale at $85,000 to a potential end user.
reseller value top end is what you paid for it, as it was well marketed on boards time and time again and was on sedo auction, so everyone knew about it
having said that, it was a good buy imo as will go on to sell for a very nice price one day
those who cant think of uses have zero creative talent
this has 2 excellent applications i can think of, and as its unforgettable, the domain, if the sites any good, you will do well
oh, and yeah, i would buy for 10k this second. you can hold me to this post

Really? Then you must also be referring to mart1n19 since even the buyer apparently can't think of a good use since if you go to http://JJJ.com all he is using it for after a long time has gone by since the sale is a framed forwarding to a UK penny auction site. What in the world does JJJ have to do with that category?
I'd pay 10k-12k for it...all day. However, I have better combos I would sell for 10k - 12kish with way more meanings..end users, traffic, etc.
I'm buying credit, banking, loan, insurance related generics in .com, .net, .org with high search volumes/traffic. Will consider typos too! - PLEASE PM with name, info, & asking price!
I Know what ive got planned for the Domain.
Yes its redirecting at present, However im not sure about anyone else, but i do have a number of domains that are being worked on & This name isnt my priority at Present.
If i just owned this domain & No others, then yes it would be up & Running.
Check the name by the end of the year & You'll see a branded site.
Triple J is not just a radio station
It is a way of life for many Australians, including me
It is Government Radio station that broadcasts to every corner of Australia, quite a big place
It has a big fan base via streaming and podcasts through out the world
If you found the right official in Australian government they could pay for jjj.com
They use a lot of different URLs including
http://www.triplejunearthed.com/default.aspx
My favourite for free legal hip hop a la Australia eg Seth Sentry
JOES.com.au Graduate of the DNF College
But the problem is the prior owner (who is also an Admin at a different forum) is in fact in AU so since he resides in AU I would not be at all surprised if he tried to sell it to the JJJ radio station (would be really surprised if he did not do that) since the name was marketed extensively for a long time using various venues.
hmmm....

This name sold for $16,000 in December http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/dom...es01-06-09.htm
In this market, I doubt the value has increased.
Find a Dog Walker
chance of selling to Australian government is 1 in 1000. the only big COM they bought was tourismaustralia.com for $200K but tourism is worth millions and its targeted for an international audience hence the COM.
$20K - $25K
I think at least $20K+ to resellers and $40k+ to end users
don't think the australian radio station would work too well as I noticed that australian companies are dropping their .com for their company and using just .com.au instead
