The trouble is by the time you could get it cranked up and popular the election will have come and gone and what are you holding then?

The only way to go now would be to plow a bunch of advertising into it, but you would have to have a good reason to do that. Everyone who has a good reason has already been up and running for a long time.

Where does this leave you with this domain? Try contacting the DNC and shop it to them, you never know. Donate it to them and try to get away with a 10K deduction haha... see if the IRS will let that one slip by.

I have electionforum.us, to late to get anything going for this election but it'll work for the next one I think. Plus I can do any number of subdomains such and congress.electionforum.us, senate.electionforum.us name.electionforum.us local.electionforum.us etc
