    Locate.cc - Your Thoughts Please

    Hi

I have the domain name Locate.cc that I would appreciate your thoughts on.

'Locate' is an english dictionary keyword. The keyword 'locate' also has decent google, overture and wordtracker results.

I am thinking of developing the domain name into a site where people can go to find credit card information and sign-up for a credit card that suits them. I think this style of site suits the extension e.g. "Locate a credit card at Locate.cc"

I know most of you guys will say that the extension affects the value, but still, does the domain HAVE any value? What are your thoughts?

    Thanks in advance,

    Craig

I think the .CC is a great TLD that will become more popular in time. I also think that your branding strategy looks pretty good on the development side of things. For the domain alone, however, I wouldn't accept less than $1450, considering the fact that just about all the other popular TLD's are bought up for the term "locate."

Like AmyC said, .cc is really gonna pick up soon, it's not a bad domain, I'd keep hold of it for a while as it will be worth a little bit in time.
