If you can't take the heat get out of the appraisal section
People asking for an appraisal expect others to be polite and courteous, to act with gentlemanly conduct, and not to be rude.

Each of your posts in reply is actually quite aggressive.

Too, it's well known that handing out appraisals all the time for newbies on any domain forum is an 'excellent' way to rack up the number of posts, which they think, will then give them more credibility.

It's obvious that the name is not worth less than $1.99, that is simply Your opinion, on what the name would be worth to you. You've made it clear that the name in question holds no value to you personally, so why keep chirping on ramming your own point home that the name isn't worth anything?

For another end user this name could be worth a few bob and they might be prepared to pay high $xx to low $xxx for it. Simply writing off every possibility of resale by saying less than two dollars isn't very professional and reflects on you badly.

Too, there is no comparison between the names you brought into the equation above and this one.

Many people do not know what this fruit is and for that reason an informative website about lychee history, where it is grown, companion foods and recipes etc etc could be just the thing they are looking for, especially if they actually grow them as a crop. For this reason the .info actually works very well and in it's favour.

Finding that end user I admit might be a little more tricky.

Best of luck to the owner of this domain, do not listen please to statements of the ridiculous as offered by the current poster above.

    3. Maybe even this one could be considered polite! WTF is usually not received by me as someone being gentlemanly.

    4. As far as racking up posts on the appraisals. I don't believe I've appraised many names here and do not intend to

    5. As you said, I made it clear that the name had no value to me personally....I thought that's what we did was give our opinions, I had no idea the owner would get angry. If I liked the name I would have no problem telling the person asking for an appraisal my thoughts.

I am new to this...I started buying names in 2005 and have just under 1000, My only source of income is parking revenue.

I'll try not to do any more appraisals and stick to what I know. Have a great day.

great with honey and vanilla. My favorite. Great name for the info extension, but check out the variant spelling 'Litchi' as is popular in India.

Yeah Litchi is a variant name for the fruit in some parts of the world.
