Wow your appraisals are higher than GreatDomains (and we all know they over price everything). Malls.com is worth 1k in this market.
1k for malls.com? yeah right... malls.info would sell for more than that

I like the domain, and think it is worth a few thousand. However I am curious how one would go about developing it? Being that the domains plural, it really kills it's immediate usage. Which would of course be to start a affiliate shop.
In addition, the development of 'Mall.com' does not help this domains value. As no matter what kind of marketing/branding blitz MALLS.com hits the NET with, MALL.com will always have the upper hand.
Very high intrinsic value, probably 10-15K.
However the market is pretty saturated, names don't sell well
at the moment, so I guess difficult to get more then 1K-1,5K.
i don't know what you mean the market isn't great. i think it is the best it has been in years.

In years?
Can you support that?
there's a poll in one of the forums which asks if the reselling market is improving and the results are a resounding yes.
i sold a domain for 300 today which i didn't even consider one of my best names and probably would have got a "reg fee" appraisal here.
The key is not just to dump domains on ebay. you have to seek out end users in the field which the domain belongs.
also take a look at perfectname.com at all the sales and offers.
business is booming.

I have to admit I never was a good salesman, but
I was surprised that some of decent names I own is hardly
difficult to seel to selected end users even at discount prices.
I am glad if you and some others have different experiences.
