anyone else?
A fast-growing niche market and the name reflects it all including (especially) the .US part. Strong name with good potential. Wait some, then target key big players and you've a winner.
Don't worry about naysayers whose developmental stage calls for opposing the norms to successfully go thru self-identity issues...its just a normal developmental phase, no sarcasm intended.

The Global Positioning System is the main navigational tool for shipping around the world. Indeed many crews now hardly know how to navigate the old fashioned way - using sextant, sun, moon, stars, etc!
GPS receivers have shrunk incredibly in size and cost over recent years and people now use them when walking, hiking, mountaineering, sailing, etc. The accuracy of positioning has also increased.
Cars are becoming fitted with them as standard and sometimes they are linked to a tracking device so they can be located if stolen.
A recent programme in the UK highlighted the use of small GPS receivers to help blind people navigate their way down a street without having to ask passers by where they were.
Good luck with the name.

Whats a mobile GPS?
I have a degree in Geomatics and I don't think the domain is resale material.
$0 resale.
GPS.US/ORG/NET/COM would all be superior names.
This name is only worth the original registration fee IMHO but some potential if you develop.
Go back to school my boy. MobileGPS is everywhere.
Good luck moving it.Originally posted by garyted51

It has to move. It is mobile. Remember?
How much should I try to sell this for on Afternic?
Aren't GPS satelites non mobile, stationary by definition?
If you are referring to the system, then by definition aren't all GPS systems mobile? Who would want a TV sized global positioning unit tell you where you are?
Just playing devil's advocate.

Excuse me!!!! I mean't held held portable. In other words you are mobile..the receiver go's with you. It is a general term look it up on Google using the words " Mobile Gps" it shows 4000 results.
Gary, how come it looks like your trying to convince everyone that your name is good rather than letting them appraise it ?
Or perhaps I missed some posts, the conversation in this thread is choppy...
Yeah, remember, we are all in the same club here trying to sell our domains to the 'others'.
When I ask you what I do, playing devil's advocate, that is just me trying to provoke thought on the matter. It's what we all do here.
So if you have to explain this name to everyone, maybe that should be looked at as a potential red flag. But then again, it's not your problem, but the problem of the person that buys your domain name.

It's funny how you finally find a domain name or two that is worth the price of a postage stamp, and you get all uptight?
Remember your roots, don't be rude to the people that help you.
