    My first batch (Feedback appreciated)

I am brand new to domaining and I know a lot of reasearch and a touch of luck can go a long way. Let me say that I am counting on the luck for my first few purchases. The excitement of starting got the best of me and I purchased some domains and would appreciate any feedback.

I have thick skin so if you think they are stinkers that should be dropped please just say it.

    stanp.com

I appreciate any feedback at all.

Ask yourself if those domains have:

obvious commercial value = not good

    strong keywords = not good

advertisers looking to place ads = not good

likelihood of getting natural/typein traffic = not good

clear and obvious meaning = not good

easy to get good site content = not good

likelihood of visits from name recognition = not good

high paying categories = not good

Does stanp.com get any typo traffic? If so, might be worth some multiple of revenue.

The hyphenated 4 character .coms's are worthless IMHO

Your other .coms are OK, but I don't think any of them are worth more than low xx reseller and maybe low XXX if you can find an interested end user.

Thank you for the quick feedback. I assumed that these would not make a difference in my life but since I typed them in to purchase and didn't go into any type of drop auctions for them I am not out that much. I think I am going to have to scrounge around to build up some capital and do much more research before I start going after better names.

It is a start to something either epic. It could be epically great or an epic disaster.
