Your mate should have kept the secret to himself. His Grace The Duke is right---value=zilch.

$200-$500 if marketed correctly. Type in Insider Scoop into yahoo and see what pops up

A bit harsh (the reply not the appraisal)... a search on my posts may show some not so nice domains but i wouldnt say I intentionally use misleading subject lines...

as for the $0 looks like its back to the drawing board

    cheers

What you see in Yahoo is actually Google's page returns and 98,000 is a low number for Google. All that means is there were that many pages that had the words insider and scoop somewhere on the page. In Overture, Insider Scoop pulls a big fat - 0 - .

If you develop it and could really provide some insider information on something then certainly it's worth more, but we are talking about resale value of the name by itself.

Sorry Ciq, didn't mean to be rude. That's not the worst name on here by a long shot. I'm just saying I doubt you could resell it based on the name alone. If a business had the connections to really get the kind of inside information the name implies, they would also have the resources to buy a much stronger name.

    no probs... no offense taken

this is the first domain i bought with a view to an actual re-sale rather than for my own personal development... but i will probably put some effort into it and perhaps try to target buyers in the market of stock tips (theres sure enough plenty of them about)

    thanks for the input all

Judging from the pictue of Ciq at www.JoinMyCult.com --I would say he's a pretty mellow & laid back guy.
I think it would take a lot to get him upset--if it's even possible. He looks very relaxed.

Look at that--he already is showing us a sign of his power. He made his post which quoted me--appear ABOVE my post that the quote came from.
