DrWho, I found your post on that boat finance name useful and I complimented and agreed with you on that. I have only just been on this forum for a day, and I have to say that making daft posts like $15 says nothing for you as an informed 'whiz'. Or is that the way the hierarchy works here? I'm seeing it elsewhere too...
I am no newbie to this game and have been buying and selling domains since 1996. I sold all HM Government's RoyalMail domains back to them in 1999 so I am a player, believe me.
I might sound pedantic and write considered posts, but I am no idiot and not lacking in street smarts.
Thanks!
This name is quite solid. However, the .com would be far more valuable and memorable to the masses.
Try appraising it yourself with the Cool Tool. (Link below)

i hear this site is young kids with no business understanding. check USPTO for my mobile, i think att TM'd it
no TM a good value
TM dump it
i would not worry about any potential IP issues. mymobile is sufficiently generic. nobody can own a term like that for all conceivable applications. i have defended several times against giant corps trying to reverse-squat. this includes Revlon (charlie.com) & Mars Inc (starburst.biz).
what i would be most concered with is mymobile.com. i would say you'd be infringing if you launched a similar service.
the .net makes it a little tricky, but there is definately some value there.
good luck

Mobile was at it's peak a few years back.
Right before global...
Now it's wireless. Find a domain with that in it and you may have something marketable.
Cheers!
mudfence, what are you on about? In the UK 'mobile' means a cellphone, like "handy" means a cellphone in Germany. We already have wireless mobile services here in the UK, like CSD, HSCSD, WAP and GPRS. Jeez. Uninformed responses pi$$ me off... Also there are no IP issues with such a generic phrase. Another daft suggestion. Next thing someone will be saying that 'spankingmymonkey.com' infringes a TM.
Good name and .net fits well. $300. Maybe more to right person.

No I am in the USA. I tried to post to the name 3 times, but only last time did it go through. Anyone with common sense knows that .net is networking. So you have a winning name.
I have MobileGPS.us. If U.S. takes off someday, I think I have a winner too.
