    namewinner grabbed me......

    JohnnyRebel.com

Any appraisals? For those of you who do not know, Johnny Rebel was a stage name for a racist songwriter in the 50's. He is still very popular and even plans on releasing a new CD later this year.

He released an anti Osama Bin Laden CD recently and it was played on the Howard Stern show....go figure.

Anyways, "Johnny Rebel" was searched for 1904 times last month on Overture. So, any appraisals?

if he is really that popular you will have the name taken away... I used to have CarsonDaly.com until his lawyer approached me, so I had to turn it over to avoid court costs

like mike says, personality rights infringing domains are becoming a bit of a liability these days.

you might make a few bucks before you get the c & d fedexed though.

Maybe a swap could be arranged: the domain name in exchange for your portrait on the cover of his new CD

    Does this make a difference?

There are a couple of personalities that use that name. In theory, it would be a good name for my future kid as well....

Its about as solid an argument as it being your dogs name.
