I couldn't see the .com going for $16,500...so no.

Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I am currently in negotiations to sell OnlineBackgammon.us. I had it appraised by securenamesale.com and it was appraised by them at $16,500. I am not sure however, how well they check out the industry the domain is apart of before making the appraisal. I do a lot of work in the online gambling community and know its potential, and Backgammon is just now hitting the online gambling scene. IMO this will be a multi-billion dollar industry in a matter of 12 months. Sites are springing up left and right which will allow you to wager real money when playing backgammon online, and even if the domain was developed as an affiliate based site it could create a great return on investment if done properly. I would like to see if anyone here has an ideas on whether the market value of the domain would actually be higher than what securenamesale.com had appraised it at. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

And why not? I could see the .com going for far more than 16k. I currently make over 500k per year advertising for casinos alone. Backgammon is a game of skill like poker, and there will no doubt be millions of people wagering real money soon.
backgammon.us maybe, just can't see it. If you're in negotiations then settle and take the money!
That might be a good idea, Thanks!

Allfordomain and secureenamesale looks to be same company so i think that "smells" like scam.
Come on man. It's people like you that ruin the domain name industry and I think you're username describes you well. This domain name was dropped on the 25th of OCT and registered "Oct 26 08:06:30 GMT 2006", NO ONE/COMPANY would/will/are going to pay you $16,500 for it. Get out of here.
the .us destroys it anyway. $xx
