Anyway, I did this small 'exercise' to demonstrate that quite often a public appraisal is way off and that one should take their time with marketing/selling domains that sounded appealing in the first place.

Oops I meant to say "word play"![]()
Good enough, Timechange ... cute little "exercise"!The main thing is ... you **SOLD** the domain, and at the end of the day that's all that really, truly matters! Good job.
Congrats and take care for now.![]()
thanks
What matters is the ROI - or if you allow me to coin a new acronym - ROA (Return On Appraisal) LOL

Great Sale Theo!
Dear Theo,
Congrats on a terrific sale!! I happen to like certain "plays on words" or whatever,
In addition, I particularly like this one right now, because of the American Idol craze.
That's why I did two things that will probably get me labeled as a total (or at least partial) lunatic right now ...
1) I registered AmericatIdol.com for my very special feline buddy, who is convinced that the American Idol reference is being mispronounced. He's convinced that HE is truly the next AmeriCAT Idol, and he practices his solos regularly just to prove his point. He is my good luck charm and my bestest buddy, so whatever the little darling wants, he gets.
2) I hold the Snap Back on AmericanIdol.com. Yeah ... I know all about the TM problems, etc., but occasionally, I just like to see if I can get the Snap Back for a name I really love, more for my own sense of happiness and proving to myself that I can do such things if I really want to than for any other reason. Fortunately I don't do this on any more than one such domain at a time.
So, my friend, go out and celebrate your wonderful sale. Hip Hip Hooray to you!!!
Warmest regards,
Sheila
