Maybe for type-in traffic, but I'm thinking brandable.

"Preso" is slang used a lot in business (for example the corporation I work for) as short for "presentation". I think it would be a good name for a site about videos for business and educational and promotional presentations.

    Reg Fee.

I've been dealing in .TV for years and do not see any value in this name, as also being in business for 20 yrs now, I've never heard of a 'preso', but could imagine they may say it in Australia, as they use alot of similar slang (doco, arvo).

Without looking, dare I guess presotv.com is available for reg fee right now, being cheaper to rego and a .com

It's actually a popular business slang term pronounced 'preezo' (in recent years) in the USA. Google 'preso' and it's 29,000,000 hits. No type-in or domain flipping value.
I just see it as brandable. I have development ideas for it for particular end-user market in mind. I got this one to develop not sell.

    Thanks!

One of the top google returns is:
    http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/preso

For the $25-30 of a .tv, I still would have invested in something like:

    PresoSkills.com
    PresoTemplates.com
    PresoBlog.com
PresoTV.com - which I would get even with having the .TV just to back-up traffic which would otherwise be lost in your marketing/SEO investment in the .TV brand. For example, someone else could get the .com and trump you in google for 'preso' or 'preso tv', bleeding traffic which was actually looking for you to their site while you burn money on your .tv.

...among other available .com which are all brandable, and argueably provides greater market coverage.

Multiple brands can then create a network/wing ring of sites of value-added products and services to a captive market, if looking forward at longer term development growth - with development coming in time versus securing the web presence now while others buy-up web property and inflate resell prices which could be greater than current reg fees paid out over whatever time it takes to dev or sell the group of names individually or as a whole.

Individually, of course, each one is brandable and stand-alone in competing in each of their respective niches, with preso.tv assumptively for targeting the exact keword 'preso' moreso than anything else, which may or may not get you better results than using a .com with the word 'preso' + 'something else related' in it. I dunno. It would be a good experiment to see if preso.tv or presotv.com would get better results for just the keyword 'preso' using the same SEO and site.

Let us know how your dev goes - have a great weekend!

One of the most thorough educational replies I've gotten for an appraisal ever.
Thanks! I see what you mean. So I reg'd presotv.com as well at your suggestion.
Now to find time to develop I don't think this particular name will mean anything
at all to the public until I develop.

I do think there is a niche here, but it is all about building up the business than
building up the PPC initially. And it is one of several development projects.
I have some better keyword search domains to build up business around, but
I just want to secure some projects in advance.
