Thanks for not taking offense. Just because someone could theoretically buy it does not make it valuable (in my mind). You always have to ask yourself how much your time is worth. It takes time to find end-users, unless the name is strong enought for them to find you (by way of Whois, etc).

I feel that if you haven't been contacted in the years you have had it, then it is worth zero....or less than zero since it occupies your mind and takes up your time. And I would still think it is worth zero even if someone buys it off of you. I have had names before that I thought had to be worth something.......and then I realized that if I aded up the time spent Googling leads, and sending emails, and posting threads, and thinking about it, that I quickly ran up a tab that is more than I could possibly get for the name, even if I got lucky and sold it.

Most people do not realize that there are names that are not only worth zero, but worth far less than zero, and every few minutes you spend on these types of times puts you further in the hole.

We all have names that do this to us. Thanks for being a good sport.

Hey - one man's trash is another man's treasure! I've sold a few domains that I wondered why the heck I even bought them to begin with. I think most of us are guilty of becoming emotionally attached to our names at some point in time.
I actually like the searching out and finding end users.
I was just going through my inventory today, and I did make the mistake back in 98 of buying too many domain names that I thought were catchy or development material - soooo glad I listened to a very successful domainer (We called him "Godfather" - but most of you all know him as Rick Schwartz) and bought SOME smart ones too.

There is nothing wrong taking shots at different types of names. I once bought the name SnoopDoggyBlog.com after seeing it on an expired name list. Wish I still had it. It makes me laugh. I have registered a lot worse names than yours, too.....way worse.

But to me, PrinceWilliamAndKate.com has to be worth zero because if you ran it through the threads here I don't think you would get $10 for it. So, if the most knowledgeable domainers in the world wouldn't register it, or buy it for essentially reg fee, then it has to be worth zero, even if you sell it to somebody for $100 down the road.

Now, I have seen names that nobody would buy here for $10 end up selling for hundreds, and even a few thousand dollars, but I don't think PriceWilliamAndKate.com is the type of name that you can really get lucky on. If all goes perfect you get low XXX in my opinion. That is a low ceiling and it is the type of name that will cost you way more than you get out of it.....in time, money, etc.

That's how I see things, but good luck with it.
