Ok guys--I have received 2 officially reported complaints regarding this thread in the last few minutes. I'm not going to throw any fuel on the fire by giving my opinion on the name--or any of the comments made.

Everyone has their opinions and that's fine--but let's stick to the subject of domains--and leave politics alone.
I have to look out for everybody's right of free speech here--even if I may not agree with it.

Appraise the name.... or don't appraise the name. Leave it at that.

I like all you guys. Even the fat ones--the ugly ones--and the smelly ones. Well .... the smelly ones do kinda bug me--but I have a big can of Air Freshener that I keep around.

Its a touchy subject. Everyone has their own opinions.

I think there is a limit as to what you should do when registering names associated with a tradegy like that. But, when it comes down to it, I don't think theres much wrong with someone making money from it. It depends on how they do it. Selling a poster is a lot different then asking for donations.

How many movies are based on wars and terrorist acts?. Mr Giuliani himself came out with a book. I'm sure it doesn't focus on 911, but im sure he is taking advantage of his role in 911 to sell more books.

I'm biting my tongue on this one. I agree with you and will keep comments to appraisals only.

My appraisal is: -3000+ Based on the amount of spam that would be received by anyone using such a name in an active site.

I think america wants to put the sep 11 incident behind us, but we still remember history.. I agree with domain name factory. Good memorial site, but I am sure there is already enough, also agree with dotcom to transfer it to another site and let them use it. I dont see a market Value. If ya want market value.. you gotta have Plento.com its the next google or yahoo or whatever.
