Then, put your cell away and go buy yourself lunch and save that $.

I'm going to say this one stands a chance with development. And I can't stand .mobi btw. Mobiles and jokes make sense - sex jokes and mobiles maybe a bit more. With a type of simple subscription service where it sends a sex cartoon daily to your mobile this one might survive.

I won't value it because I have not bought any and will not buy any .mobi.

this sort of domain , i can't really see an enduser in sight.
However......hold your horses...
There is a market for this sort of thing.
Again, i would say, why not develop. People will want to see something when they get there. There are few developed .mobis thus far & most are dull as hell.

I think the .mobi ext has a lot of promise...and your name may be a good development site - not an enduser site for big bucks.

I would be very careful regging names similar to the so called "premium" names (if only because they are similar)...I think a lot of the premium names are designated that way to get more reggs of similar names...and not because they are actually premium.

Might be too much for a cell phone.

As a safety measure, all .mobi regs are required to be entered into the registrar via a mobile device.

Could speed things up when they all go to voice recognition. But then they'd probably say com anyway. That is until there's too many global coms and they want something local. Of course if they're a ways away they'd probably say dot US. Or if they're real close, they'll just point their phone at the restaurant, and the GPS will identify it and display a menu.

I think most people just register .mobi names not really caring what the practical implications will be - that is, intending to use them as regular domains over a regular PC and browser. With that in mind, those .mobi domains are no better than .cc, .ws etc TLDs.
