I advise you to buy some decent .tv domains in aftermarket instead of registering low quality.
.com domains with quality are hard to sell imagine what will happen with a low quality .tv

Hey Makis,
Thanks for your opinion. Can you please expound a little bit as to why you think it's a bad/low quality name? I won it via dynadot Expired Name Auction and I thought it could be a good site for funny/humorous videos.

Well I dont claim I m native in English but there isnt any real word as "smilies" and furthermore it doesnt fit .tv.
Imagine how many times you ve read or heard about "Smilies" and "tv" together, if you had Smile.tv then everything would be different.
ps: There are so many .tv domains in aftermarket or in namejet/dynadot/GoDaddy expired auctions that I m sure you can find a better one next time.

Smilies.tv...just call it the Nightmare Channel.
All that is ever shown are these incredible smilies all day like like little Chuckies. Next thing you know, you can't get them out of your head, you can't sleep, it is just horrible but...you can't turn it off! You just keep watching day after day.
so, for me...I see no value.
Very difficult to brand.
I sold smiles dot-tv 5 years ago for low $xxx (probably a bit too cheap). That's a much better term than smilies, especially since there is an alternate spelling: smileys. But if you want to set up a humorous video site, smilies dot-tv would be a reasonable name for it.
