Thanks NamPopper, I am more happy that snapnames beat namewinner on this one, You have near %50 chnage to get it with snapnames or namewinner in my opinion, and the snap had only 2 month`s till expire.

The name is descriptive and practical.The appliance is used everyday in offices,schools and homes. However, I could not see
myself going on the internet, just to buy a notepad. When I could
take one from work or just go to the local Walgreens,which are on every corner in Chicago.

Would not have paid to snap this one. Sorry!

Your 50% chance for NW & Snap only applies for mediocre names like notepad.net. Had you been trying for note.net or pad.net your probability would have been much lower as the big players, like Buy & Ult, start setting their sites on your target. In fact, on second thought, you probably had less than a 50% chance and just lucked out, as notepad.net is definitely worth a Snap.

My estimate for note.net or pad.net is you would have, at best, a 20% chance with the high NW or a Snap. If you were trying for Note.com or Pad.com, your chance is <10% with either service. Just based on my own experience. A name that gets a 9.0 on my own 10 point scale, I rarely get, even if I have a Snap & the high NW. The names of the game are bandwidth & focus. If I owned 50% of the best names that I ever had snaps on (& that actually dropped), I could just about retire by now.

This is why I will be happy to see the arrival of WLS.
