still waiting for someone to appraise me

I posted this before, and got comments about what I should put on my site to make money off my traffic, but my question is still what would you appraise it at?

If you have steady traffic, you don't need an appraisal.
Are you making money,if so, then that your appraisal?

The name itself dosen't do anything for me.

Try to figure out where your traffic is coming from.

A quick look on marketleap shows there are only about 20 sites linking to xxxpal.com, so I'm guessing your traffic is coming direct from search engines. If you have access to your raw log files, run them through Web Log Expert Lite (it's free) from www.weblogexpert.com. It will show you the referring URL's, any keywords typed into search engines etc.

Once you know why your visitors are coming, give them what they want! Even a small amount of targetted traffic can be valuable.

For example, I recently picked up a domain, and after a few weeks I can see that the surfers are looking for mobile phones (even though it's not obvious from the domain name)..

I appreciate all of these responses about what the domain name means, and how to decipher my traffic, and whether it is an adult site or not, but what surprises me is that I thought this section of the forum was supposed to be about "appraisals", not "evaluations."

My own personal opinion is $800-1000 dollars, based on the concise name, the brandability of the phrase, the amout of money I make from the site (and yes, I actually do make some), and the amount of traffic that it brings in with virtually no development. However, the point of my post was not to rely on my own personal opinion about value, and to elicit valuations from the members of this board.

So, that being said, any thoughts on valuation? You know, actual money like dollars? franks? pounds? lira? sheckels? pesos?

Well, if you are making money then use that as a more precise method to estimate value. For example thissitesnameiswaytolong.com could be worth more than 50K if the income is 3K+ a month.

Without the income, thissitesnameiswaytolong.com isn't worth the $7 reg fee.

Sorry for living. Well, the name itself is mediocre. There are thousands of adult domains available, if you use your imagination, so someone isn't likely to pay you much for the name itself.

Income from traffic makes it more valuable, of course, and since only you know how much money you're making it's hard for us to place a figure on it.

I'd estimate it's value at between 12 and 24 times your monthly income.

You have some discussible presence stats and a decent Alexa ranking but your site looks like a registrar parking redirect. I dont know if the image at the bottom is under rotation (you have to scroll way down to see it) but it's icky imo.

I thought xxxpal.com would be another risque online oncam "friends" site but I found a link exchage. Good enough. Pleasantly surprised there.

You need to spiff it up with a logo and some graphics. Then you can sell as package. Even though the name is weak, I do see this fetching $400+ if your traffic is "real" and sustained.
