Sums.com

Just acquired this short 1-word .com registered since 1995. I was thinking of developing it into a website with different online calculators, from mortgage/loan calculators to scientific calculators, finance/stock returns etc.

Development ideas and/or appraisals are very welcome and appreciated.

I think $12k is about its worth, as for development i think it would be hard to monetize unless you ranked on forst page for calculators as there are millions of them online unless of course you added some kind of twist to it ?

It definitely need a twist to it, like all popular websites do nowadays if they want to compete. It might hard to rank first page for calculators indeed, but it's possible. Ranking as #1 for 'sums' on the other hand, should be a lot easier. Thanks for your valuable comment bulldog!

I would say 15k+ imo. As far as development how about some type of news/info site with the tagline "That about sums it up" .. Just an idea!

Reseller $XXXX mid-high.

Now if you tell me it gets 50 uv a day and is somewhat targeted, at that point coupled with its age and shortness, reseller low 5 figs.

Not sure about traffic yet. Looks like it's getting at least 30 uniques/day.
