I have an offer of mid $xxx I can't for the life of me get a hold of the guy that ownes Tax Forum com He does not have a site up and his email keeps bouncing back. Buy domains wants $2500 a piece for Tax Forum net & org

What would you value TaxForum us at?

I think that is a really good offer for a ,us forum domain, you sont get too many offers for .us names anyway, take the offer

take the offer! it is a FORUM name with a .US extension. Those are almost never worth anything. It cant be compared to all of those names above.

dont fall into the trap of comparing those sales to your domain, if you would have asked in this appraisal what your domain is worth without the info that you have a mid xxx offer, the replies would have been low xx , if that.

I agree. It's a an ok two-word name, but with .us ext. Take the offer, and reg more .us names.
mid xxx is a good offer.

Other .us sales listed here aren't a good comparison to taxforum.us

Some of my thinking is, since Tax Forum com, net, org are not up and this person has seen that, and received offers back from Buy Domains and plans to really put serious time and effort into making this a great tax forum.

I think it is also fair. I also think when he puts it up and draws traffic with the others still down it could set the pace for all 4 of the extensions.

LOL, actually I am just not a fan of .us. Based on the current market it's definitely worth more than Reg fee. I just don't have time myself to mess with the .us market right now. :-D My opinion may be a bit biased.
