    Themeparks.us

Sell it for $900.00 OR keep it for later development....most likely a directory-type site for American themeparks; any chance of getting paid ads. /profitable affiliates?

I have Genetics.us and Nanotech.us and would rather prefer to develop instead of selling at this point of time when the market is down . But a good offer can always swing the matters. So if you get a good offer , grab the $$$ . Otherwise wait for better times or develop it. You have a good name with huge potential.
    Genetics.us, Genome.us, Nanotech.us, CosmeticSurgeon.us
    CellularPayments.com, ElectronicsEngineering.com,
    HollywoodTimes.com, TechnologyTimes.com are on sale.

If you have a buyer sell it....
if not develop it into a US themepark portal, and get money off the themeparks from ads...ofcourse .us needs a lillte more exposure.....goood luck!

    Thanks folks...

for your experienced advice. I think I'd keep it and develop it down the road. Like they say sometimes "ignorance is blessing" so for me an offer of $900 is not really worth giving up the "speculation" on a name like Themeparks.us.

    Some further thoughts...

Wonder if Themeparks.us is a "great" name for .us extension (which I believe it is) then why go for another extension, especially such as .net. It'd be the same as suggesting .us extension for "url" (instead of .net). Secondly, why folks think $900 is good price for a "great" name with an intuitive and relevant extension (.us) while url.net (.net being a very relevant extension for url) has been appraised by many at much more. Which one has more type-ins? Per overture, its themeparks (68K vs. 44K for URL).

.com is king....plain and simple. If you have the choice of:

    themeparks.com or themeparks.us

    Which one would you take?

    I'd be crazy...

to expect that somebody would hand me over Themeparks.com for $900 (may be even 9K). Am I wrong? Its somewhat baffling that the suggestion is being made to sell Themeparks.us for $900 and go for .com (or .net) version of the name. Leaving .com aside, I personally believe that the .us extension is more relevant with the name and thus more valuable in the long run.
