I have no influence over .us popullarity, so theres not much I can do about it Are you pesimistic about .us? Is that what you meant, that .us might not be popullar or even worse?
Almost every celebrity .us is already registered, therefore I find my Tupac Shakur a good domain. Afterall hes one of the most popular american icons ever..

Tupacshakur.US – is it worth a legal headache?

I suggest you also post your question to the Legal forum. Briefly – the Shakur estate lost UDRP against Tupac.com, but, your registration is another story. Your current strategy could be to build value but stay under the radar.

Tupac.com is forwarded to Tupacfans.com, so its tupac shakur related. Therefore, I dont see much difference from mine, if i set it up as a fan-site.. But thanks for your comment, I will post this on legal section just in case..

Difference is the owner of tupac.com went through a long, expensive legal battle over the domain and was finally 'allowed' to operate under the tupacfans.com domain name.

My appraisal is it's not worth the time or money to get into it. Just posting this domain for appraisal is probably enough evidence for the Estate to take this name away from you when they decide they want it.
