urge.ms ... two keywords in one. d

"urge" is a new microsoft/mtv music service recently announced.

also registered ... who.ms (might make a good whois domain - also like the "whom" connection)

FYI - there not too many "who" domains left out there, although still a few. If you are looking for a something that is 3 letters and don't mind ccTLD's I'd recommend anyone reading this to jump on one. These are still available for registration (first come - first serve)...

who.sh - wow!... if anyone grabs this good for them! - cool name, pricey.

I don't think they could (if you mean what I think) ... urge is a dictionary word, and it can't be copyrighted. Not using the microsoft name anywhere in it either - It just so happened... Correct me if I'm wrong...

If the website mentions anything about microsoft or has anything to do with computers or music then it could still be a TM violation even though its a dictionary word. It would be like buying the domain name APPLE with some extension and then selling computers on it.

That makes senses. In your sig you have many wii domain names... that would involve the same type of issues right?

No not necessarily, they do not interfere with Nintendos selling capabilities and it does not reduce the amount of traffic to their site.

Interesting... It seems like a fine line ~ I checked microsoft's trademarks, and it's not listed on there, so maybe be okay for now. Thanks for the helpful info too...
