Yikes. 1 million is pretty steep for a 3 word name of any sort.

I'd say the actual keywords are average... and internet users with awareness of the .us tld are in a minority.

That said, I would have a difficult time believing this name is worth beyond mid-high $xxx.

The only issue with the .us tld is that one must meet certain US presence requirements to own one, which limits your scope of buyers. As I, as well as my corporation, do not have such presence, I miss out on many .us opportunities.

I am not sure what the story with that WhiteHouseCrisis.com sale is. The sale was either fake, or the biggest fluke ever. I don't see much value for this in .US

Really sounds like a $25 name max to the person who really wants it. It is all supply and demand and I see no demand for that name and there are better names as .com's they can register for $8.

I am not doubting anything you said about that .com. Maybe your best bet is to sell it to the .com owner.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder (why so many of us will not depart with names we hold). And also realistically, it is a long name that has so many SHORTER permutations as a .com.
I might be wrong, but I look at names as if my neighbors would remember or easily type in, instead of having them memorize a long string and then say .. "Not .com.. type in .us!"
That was my crash course in domaining.. keep it simple and sweet and .com

Don't think the .com holder would want it either since there is a big for sale sign on the .com site. I can go down the list and see why some of the others sold for 1 m and up but not this one. But it just takes one.

WhiteHouseCrisis.us as well as WhiteHouseCrisis.com are both worth zero. In other words, if you showed these names to 100 seasoned/reasonable domainers and told them they were unregged you would get ZERO who would register WhiteHouseCrisis.us and maybe one or two who would register WhiteHouseCrisis.com, if that.

The alleged million dollar sale is obviously a FRAUD and SCAM. There is no need to investigate any further. It NEVER HAPPENED. Most people don't even realize that Business.com never even happened at 7 million. At least with Business.com many people were fooled for many years because it was at least within the realm of possibility at that time. Of course, Business.com isn't even a great stand alone name. It is worth a decent amount, though, for obvious reasons. The same cannot be said for the White House names.

    WhiteHouseCrisis.us is a far cry from WhiteHouse.com.
