    I like root beer (the drink) but not root-beer the domain (the hyphen severely limits its value).

    LOL...good posts. I agree that the hyphen limits the value, but I don't agree that it does not have much commercial value. A & W Root Beer owns RootBeer.com and there are many other Root Beer Companies out there.
