Arrears.mobi well known term or not?

Hello all, regged this bad boy today, I know it's a well known term in the UK, but is it well known everywhere else in the world??? Can some reps from US, Canada and any other english speaking nation feed me a little information as i'm not too sure about it's relevency worldwide. I'm quite happy with this pickup late in the game even if it does just turn out to be a UK only term.

    Cheers for your assist

    Chris.

Its a common term here in Florida but I've never heard it used by itself. Always used as describing something being behind, usually a payment or debt. Well know yes...but not commonly used by itself.
Politicians and diapers need changing often...both for the same reason.
