lol. Nice thinking Angel, great keywords though. Congrats Namesbond!
You need to understand those sales have little to do with the .mobi part and more with the keyword itself. When .junk comes out, people will still register popularkeyword.junk
hmmm... congrats
but i wonder who bought it and why... no offense but it isnt the greatest name in the world...
Once again flawed logic. If the person who bought this name wanted it for "keyword" only he/she could have made an offer to the .biz or .info only and I'm sure they would have settled on a price 1/2 of what they paid for the .mobi.
Late night trolling must be an old habit of yours.
hmm.. perhaps an experiment is in order if these are what .mobi's are "worth"
i think someone just bought into the hype too early.. but then again what do i know..
Not sure how old you are, but we all were thinking people were crazy to buy up .com names for more than $5K back in 1995. Well, you know the rest of the story.
btw: Back in 1995, the .com extension was definitely awkward. In fact a lot of companies didn't use the .com in the advertising (It was implied). This changed about 1998 I would say.

Congrats on the sale. More good news for .mobi - the first extension with a chance to become bigger than .com.
NameNewsletter.com - free lists of available domain names
ZoneFiles.net (beta) - ccTLD and gTLD droplists
It's the ONLY ext. released so far that has that chance! If .mobi becomes the standard for mobile internet and mobile internet usage surpasses home usage. Think about it. None of the other ext. have that possibility. I'm not saying it will, only that it could.
Thanks for all the good wishes!
And... Vote for .Mobi!![]()
this is the first real mobi sale I am aware of. All the names on the traffic auction that were sold belonged to the registry. I didn't know anybody esle who sold their .mobi name. Congrats!
