The NPs .mobi Gestapo deleted my thread there! 15 pennies in revenue for December for iphones.mobi. At this rate it will take me 333 years to pay off this baby. So far January is a big goose egg, so it will probably take longer than 333 years. I'm amazed only one or two .mobi fanatics have clicked the whole time I've owned this dog!

The links at the bottom of the search are confusing...

Why would someone who has an iphone be interested in other phones or other calling plans? Why don't you change those links to something that iphone users would be interested in (iphone news/tips etc)? I assume most of your visitors are using the iphone (the site seems optimized for it)

Not everyone has an iphone. A ton of people need to upgrade. Regardless there's no traffic other than .mobi fanatics checking what's there. Just like you did.

The main problem is that you have a website which is visited by domainers without an iphone, it is designed for an iphone by the look of it, but it is advertising towards people that want to buy an iphone (or search the web).

You could register for a dnforum affiliate account, then say this domain is for sale here and look for other services that .mobi lovers are looking for (parking/drop services etc). Find similar domains on sedo and link to them with sedo's affiliate scheme.

2.) iPhones.com is not owned by Apple.

3.) iPhones.net very likely has similar stats to iPhones.mobi

4.) The Mobiphobes often lecture us how the iphone is an alleged .mobi killer. So if iPhone is an alleged .mobi killer, why would anyone go to iphones.mobi. It would be like me going to Ruth Chris Steak House and ordering a pizza

When something is hot, traffic is generated on the net. It's why people registered 1000's of typos of youtube.com and google.com. Traffic is $. iphones are hot right now, especially with tech savvy people, big users of the net. That translated into people registering typos of iphones.com. Of course I'm preaching to the choir. Since you own .mobis, you already know .mobis get no traffic. Postings lists of big companies owning a .mobi does nothing to bring traffic to your .mobis. It only serves to sucker in people trying to become domainers. Could there be any other reason you hype .mobi at every turn? If you thought .mobi was so great you would keep your big mouth shut in the hopes of getting more great .mobis cheap.
