I think you should be happy, it's good money and great ROI. But I think the buyer also got a good price. Still, when I noticed you had the domain for sale I did think about buying it myself...

$ 33,000
Should I be happy with it? I dont know... I am happy with the cash, but on the other hand: did I sell too early? Will GAMBLE.mobi be worth much much more in the future?
The Story...
Seven days ago I was negotiating on sedo with a buyer. He started @ about $ 5,000. I returned an offer of $ 33,000 and heard almost nothing, untill this afternoon...
My first reaction was: F#CK! I lost one of my best domains... I lost it! Damn...Dear Mr. Veeger,
We are pleased to inform you that your offer of 33000 $US for gamble.mobi has been accepted.
You and the seller have now agreed to a legally binding contract for the sale of this domain name.
I was willing to sell the domain. But always via an auction. I thought that I could start an auction when the buyer accepted my offer. But it turned out that if I make a counter offer and the buyer accepts it, you can not start an auction.
Is the $ 33,000 (10 bucks more than laptops
) a reasonable price for this moment?
I think you should be happy, it's good money and great ROI. But I think the buyer also got a good price. Still, when I noticed you had the domain for sale I did think about buying it myself...
What a story, it's nice to hear these candid accounts of a domain sale.
It's a great return on an investment no matter how you look at it, but if .mobi takes off you may regret the sale. Too bad it couldn't go to auction, but a counter offer at sedo is treated as a 'buy it now at this price offer'.
There is so much money in gambling, and playing blackjack, poker, slots and sports betting on a mobile will be the future.
I have heard of sellers on sedo not going through with a sale in cases like this, but I don't know if you want to go that route. Maybe take the money and buy some LLL.com, NNN.com or a nice generic .com with traffic!

Dear WEBecri,
You have done very well my friend. I realize that at times, domain investors get attached to their domains. This is to be expected. This said, I think this is an incredible/historic sale and that you should just focus on reinvesting into your passion, domaining!
Sincerely,
Craig

awsesome sale - congrats!
that money can go a long way at developing a pioneering .mobi
FOR SALE
I wonder who bought it? It's a nice sum of money but the big land or online casinos probably make more than that in a day. My initial thought is the buyer is getting a good deal.

wait until you have the money in your account before you jump for joy, then when you do, realize that .mobi is still a big maybe..and 33k is a great sale for even a .com in reality.
I'm buying credit, banking, loan, insurance related generics in .com, .net, .org with high search volumes/traffic. Will consider typos too! - PLEASE PM with name, info, & asking price!
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Or so they say.
In general when bartering its always unnerving when someone accepts your first offer. Always makes you wonder if you sold too low.
How many of us would have valued that one at around 1k in September? Congratulations on the sale. Seems like a hell of a lot of cash to me.![]()

It is a hell of cash
But I want to quit my job and DEVELOP!!!!
This is the half of my year salary... So I cannot quit a this moment!
Maybe after tomorrow evening???
Congratulations WEBecri![]()
Enjoy your cash my friend. Important thing is that you made a killing profit on this one and thats what its all about at the end of the day. There are many envious domainers today - No doubt![]()
Although, You sure did have a gem, a rare find indeed. I had interest in this one myself as you know![]()
Well done to the buyer too - $33K is a steal IMHO even today![]()
... and thats domaining.....![]()
good luck with your other gems too![]()
Wow!
What an investment....to turn $100 into $33,000 in 3 months is like a Gazzillion percent return on your money!
You should be elated.

Well Im glad you didnt settle on the measly $2500 offer lol. See I wasnt crazy when I said it was worth at least 15k minimum on your apprasial thread! So happy to hear I was way low!!! Great Job!
Aloha!
How can you ask if its a good sale?
Here's a breakdown:
You paid: $25-30.
You sold it for: $33,000
Your profit: $32,975.
If someone buys something for this money, they know there's something going on.
I dont think its a speculator. If i had this domain i have kept it - this one is IMO far more worth than flowers.mobi - CPA every player $300.
